If you're anything like me, you believe that a home is more than just a place to live — it's a canvas for expressing who we are, what we love, and how we see the world. Let me share a little story to kick things off. Many years ago, I noticed that people always commented how they loved the way I decorated my home. It dawned on me — my space totally reflected my personality! It was like living in my own shoes; comfortable, and definitely "me." I guess I am lucky to be really creative and to have an eye for space and placement. Other people who knew me well often shared their amazement at how quickly I was able to make a new home every time I moved. I decided recently that my life coaching career was no longer bringing me joy, after thirty years, it was time to take a new direction. That's when I decided to allow myself to use my creativity even more, and start designing home decor products.
Through this blog, I will share with you as I continue learning, everything from the basics of color theory and the secret to creating a functional yet stylish layout, to choosing pieces that shout (or whisper) "you."
Whether it’s turning your great-grandma’s vintage suitcase into a charming coffee table or finding the perfect shade of yellow for a sunny breakfast nook, we’ll cover it all. I also will share with you some of the decor items I design in my online stores I just recently started developing.
This is all so much fun to me, and I hope you will enjoy them as well. And let's not stop here ... I will even custom design items for your home if you can't find what you are looking for ... well, within my capabilities, of course. I mean things like cushions, shower curtains, wall art, or even fabric and wallpaper!
